Well, as you may have already noticed, this blog post is coming to you much later than usual in the week. I do apologize for that! This week has been full of busy, and even though it’s all been at home, now it’s taking a bit of a toll.
I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather these last couple of days and don’t have the usual amount of energy that I put into each post. And as this week is supposed to be the wrap up of, “How Are You Handling This?” I didn’t want to just put a half effort into summarizing it. It’s just too good as it features fabulous, fantastic, and sweet as can be Gwen Debruyn of Bayberry Cottage. It’s an amazing story of serendipity, hard work, and again, optimism. So, it will have to wait for next week, but I promise, it’s worth it.
I didn’t want to leave you totally hanging though! So for this week’s content, I’m so excited to share that I was recently featured on the Wingnut Social Podcast. During our time, Darla, Natalie, and I talked all about whether or not the client experience is still important during this crisis, and if so what it now looks like. Not to spoil the surprise, but it is.
We also covered what’s business as usual, what’s not, how to set boundaries even amongst the chaos and why it’s ok to do so, and even a surprising secret that I’ve finally let out to the interior design community – my nickname! My parents gave it to me when I was about 2, and it’s stuck with me ever since. To this day, most of my immediate family still calls me by that name. But when you hear it, you may be shocked. Darla certainly was! So, whenever you have a free moment you can hop on over to their website here and check it out!
Let me know what you think of the podcast in the comments below, and if you find out what my nickname is!
